Senior Software Developer

Job Duties:        

  • Design and implement new software requests for RVFI. Create design workflows using UML (Unified Modelling Language) and implement logistics using Java programming language.

  • Design and implement integrations with EMS (Execution Management System) to allow clients to send RFQ (Request For Quote) trades directly from RVFI to the EMS platforms.

  • Lead a team of developers to work on an internal web-based support tool.

  • Maintain and implement new features to the in-house tunnel technology used for secure communication over the user's firewall and RiskVal servers.

  • Research for future integrations in RVFI and RVPortfolio with Machine learning algorithms and market data analytics.

  • Use Java, Kafka, Rabbit MQ, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, JQuery, SSL encryption/decryption, full-duplex TCP, TensorFlow and PyTorch.



  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering;

  • Six months experience in designing software using UML; designing and implementing web-based tool using SpringBoot, JSP, Angular.js, HTML, CSS, JQuery and Bootstrap. 

  • Knowledge of Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Software Engineering, Computer Architecture, Information, Security & Privacy, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Vision. 

  • Skills in using Java, Agile, Eclipse IDE, RedHat, Docker, GitHub, Mercurial, Python, Jython, Kafka, Zookeeper, RabbitMQ, TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, JSON, XML, SpringBoot, Spring MVC, JSP, Vue.js, Node.js, Angular.js, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, DataTables, and SQL Server.

Quantitative Developer

About the Opportunity


RiskVal Financial Solutions is looking for a mid-level quantitative developer to join our team. We are a leading SaaS provider in fixed income trading solutions for the financial industry, with clients at almost all top-tier sell-side and buy-side trading firms.


What you’ll do:


  • Research, implement, and maintain quantitative models, conduct design & development of the algorithms for different trading strategies, and perform the numerical error analysis.

  • Work closely with the business and clients to understand the challenges facing the fixed income market and work with developers to implement solutions.


What’s required:


  • Minimum 4 years of industry experience. Strong knowledge of fixed income products preferred.

  • Master or foreign equiv. in CS/CE/Math/Statistics or closely related field from a competitive school.

  • Strong background in Math, Statistics and Programming. A strong ability to implement analytics into a program.

  • A passion for coding along with the technical ability to implement quickly. Proficiency in C++/Java/Python preferred.
