Trade Processing
Trade processing is one of the most tedious but important elements of every trading system. Many financial institutions have spent millions of dollars each year in this area to improve the stability and functionality of in-house trade processing systems. As the demand for OTC derivatives has increased in recent decades, so has the demand for public post-trade-processing services to improve trade transparency and standardize the trade confirmation and settlement protocols.
RiskVal’s RVFI, Credit Enterprise, and RVCredit are all equipped with trade capture functions to enable traders to easily enter trades into the system.
RiskVal’s RVFI is fully integrated with GlobeOp post trade services to complete the trade cycle. Multiple trade entries are eliminated, which previously often allowed human error to lead to costly operations and a waste of time.
RiskVal’s Credit Enterprise and RVCredit are designed to seamlessly integrate with in-house systems. We are also in the process of integrating with MarkIT MTP/DTCC, which is expected to be in production 1Q 2009.
On the electronic trading end, RiskVal’s RVFI is in the process of working with major electronic fixed income and credit trading and OMS companies to enable our clients to directly execute trades from RVFI’s advanced front-office trading strategy suite. This functionality will allow traders to setup algorithmic trading for fixed income inside RVFI with full STP integration.
